Marriage is one of the most precious gifts God gives us – but it is not always simple and it's not always easy.Our Married People Ministry is designed to help. Each quarter, we create fun, free events that help you develop strong communication, healthy relationship habits, and a marriage full of life!
What is MarriedPeople?
Married People is a ministry created just for, you guessed it – married people. We have ministries for men, women, college kids, single folks, old folks, moms, teenagers…but what about husbands and wives? At The Bridge, we’re nuts about marriage. In 2018, we launched this ministry with a vision of seeing marriages flourish in our church. We want to provide fun, free events where you can enjoy time with your spouse and hang out with other couples. (And did we mention we take care of childcare?) We have honest conversations about the struggles many of us face in our marriages, and how to avoid making the same mistakes when interacting with our partners. We want to take away the excuses for not prioritizing date nights. Most importantly, we want to reverse the pattern of putting your marriage last on your list of priorities.
The robust MarriedPeople curriculum is designed to focus on four specific targets:
Have Serious Fun | The best way to protect your marriage is to enjoy it.
Respect & Love | Our spouse doesn’t bring out the worst in us – they reveal the brokenness in us.
- Love God First | Loving God in your individual life impacts your married life.
- Practice Your Promise | Marriage is not about the big day, but the every day.
