What is the 90-Day Tithing Challenge?
When we give our first back to God, He promises to bless the rest. (Malachi 3:10) We want to make it easy for everyone to accept this challenge by eliminating any risk involved. If anyone doesn’t feel that God has spiritually blessed them after 90 days of tithing (giving 10% of their income), we will refund 100% of their tithe. No questions asked.

01) What is a tithe?
A tithe is the Biblical concept of giving away 10% of your income, an idea that was instituted thousands of years ago as a way to thank and worship God for His provision. (Deuteronomy 14:22). In ancient times, the tithe was a portion of crops and herds, but the principle still holds true today. Everything you have comes from God, and returning at least 10% of it to continue God’s work in the world is an act of acknowledging where it came from, what it is for, and remembering who owns it.
02) What is the 90-Day Challenge?
The Tithe Challenge is a way for us to recognize God’s promise to honor and take care of His people. In Malachi 3:10, God is in essence asking, “Don’t you think I will completely bless you and take care of you if you live on 90% of what I gave you?” By living sacrificially with your giving, you are investing in spreading the message of Jesus to the whole world. And here’s our commitment to you: If you tithe for three months and don’t see God’s faithfulness in your life, we will refund 100% of your tithe.
03) When can I start?
After taking time to pray, you can begin giving 10% in November and continue for 3 months.
04) How does the "money back guarantee" work?
People who have officially registered for this challenge and have fulfilled their 90 day giving commitment may contact The Bridge’s Finance Office prior to February 28, 2026, and we’ll refund your tithe. No questions asked. Email Finances@thebridgemi.org to learn more.
05) When can I start?
Calculate 10% of your income and then divide by 12. That will calculate the monthly tithe amount. You would then take that monthly amount and multiply it by 3 (90 days) to determine your challenge goal amount. You can choose to give towards that goal however you’d like during this period. (Weekly, Monthly, etc.)
06) What are important dates that I need to know?
This challenge runs from 11/01/2025 through 01/31/2026. The deadline to sign up for this challenge (or to make changes to your commitment) is 11/01/2025.
If you desire a refund of your giving, for any reasons, that request must be submitted by February 28, 2026.
